Knowledge gives us power in every part of our lives. Knowing what you spend, what you earn, and what your investments actually return gives you the power to plan — and to make decisions that fit your own goals, so you can enjoy life today without compromising it tomorrow. I want everyone to be able to track their own finances and understand where they stand, and through that, make progress — not just financially.
The commitment
To support that, I commit to always offering MoneyTracker for free:
- ✓No adsNothing in the app is sold to advertisers, and nothing ever will be.
- ✓No selling of customer dataNot to advertisers, not to anyone — and no similar practices, either.
- ✓No mandatory purchasesMoneyTracker will never require you to buy additional services or a subscription to be useful.
MoneyTracker may offer optional extension points for connecting paid third-party services you arrange yourself — your own cloud storage for backup, say, or your own AI service for automated receipt analysis. Nothing here is sold or bundled by MoneyTracker itself; these are always optional, never required, and as far as it's feasible, I won't restrict them to a single provider. You choose not just whether to use one, but which one.
Why I'm doing this
I built MoneyTracker for myself, and I'll keep maintaining it — whether it ever has other users or not. I don't intend to monetize the people who use it.
